aFe is proud to introduce the all new Stage-2 intake system for the 2013-2016 RAM diesel trucks with the L6-6.7L turbo diesel engine. In recent testing this system outflowed the factory intake by 113%. This highly engineered system uses a powder-coated heat-shielded air box with a one-piece intake tube. Handling filtration duties is the Pro 5R performance air filter that features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media. The Pro 5R filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. The heat-insulating, molded plastic intake tube adapts to the stock intake elbow making it easier for installation. The tube is also engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance while lowering Intake Air Temps (I.A.T.). Utilizing factory mounting points, this system provides a hassle-free installation.
One Piece Powder-Coated Steel Heatshield:
A one-piece powder-coated steel heatshield is used to keep the air intake charge cool and dense. Designed to bolt directly to the bottom half of the stock air box, the heatshield incorporates the use of the factory RAM active air.
Huge 5" Flange 360 Degree Air Filter:
A huge inverted cone 360 degree radial flow air filter is used for maximum flow and performance filtration (98.6% efficient). The Pro 5R performance air filter features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media and is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.
Rotomolded intake tube is engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance while lowering Intake Air Temps (I.A.T.). The tube connects to the stock intake elbow for added convenience and quicker installation.
aFe has developed this intake to provide a hassle-free installation that utilizes all factory mounting locations minimizing the use of hardware.
