This air intake system produces 5 max horsepower, 12lbs. x ft. torque and out-flowed the factory intake by 81%. Includes a durable 16 gauge, powder-coated heat shield; this air intake system features a washable/reusable conical air filter. This intake system also features a heat-insulating molded plastic tube that replaces the stock intake tract and directs increased air flow with improved volumetric efficiency for maximum performance. One-piece heat shield requires little or no assembly and the filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.
This intake is 50-state legal (CARB E.O Number D-550-4).

(out of 5) | " Easily installed in about an hour. Very well made and but instructions could be improved on. Would like to see the sensors held in place a little better. I dont feel they would move, just that they could be more secure. The intake really improved my throttle response and low end power. You can hear the turbo more then stock and it sounds throatier which is a plus for me. After several AFE intakes on multiple trucks AFE is all I'd use. " - Reviewed by brad rarick | |
