When the second generation Nissan Titan pickup truck was revealed, many wondered how it would fair against heavyweights Ford, Dodge, and Chevy. Powered by a Cummins 5.0L V8 turbo diesel, producing a hefty 310 HP and 555 Lb. x ft. of Torque at the crank. Completely redesigned inside and out the new Titan XD offers a high level of luxury with brute strength all in one package. aFe POWER will rely on our vast experience with Cummins Engines to give this truck the complete aFe POWER makeover.
The intake development team got to work the second this truck rolled into the shop. Pictured above, you can see our experienced team of engineers have already developed a 3D Printed Momentum HD Intake with testing fully underway in real world conditions. The Momentum HD features a roto-molded one-piece housing to protect the air filter from hot engine bay temperatures, including a larger diameter intake tube for maximum airflow for improved horsepower and torque. A large, clear sight window is used for a hassle-free filter inspection and unique aggressive styling. The included urethane plug can be used to block off the auxiliary air inlet, or you can add our optional air scoop which will be available for purchase for increased airflow.

The intercooler charge pipes were next on the list to tackle for the Nissan Titan XD. The stock intercooler pipes are 2-1/2” inlet and outlet diameters from both the cold and hot side tubes. We will be featuring two packages, one will be an OE upgrade for those wanting to keep their stock intercooler, and the other will be a complete intercooler kit upgrade. The OE upgrade will feature a hot side charge pipe with a 2-1/2” inlet and outlet diameter, featuring fewer bends than what the OE has for increased airflow. The cold side charge pipe will have a 3” inlet and outlet diameter increasing airflow and minimizing restriction. The complete kit will feature an upgraded intercooler core and new 3” charge pipes on both the hot and cold side for increased cooling efficiency.

The stock exhaust for the Nissan Titan XD was too boring for an aggressive looking truck, the R&D exhaust team didn’t waste any time in developing a tougher looking exhaust system for the Titan XD. The LARGE BORE XD exhaust system is crafted from either a 4" or 5” mandrel-bent stainless steel or aluminized steel for maximum air flow and aggression. We use high-quality band clamps and OE-style bayonet hangers for a secure and leak-free seal, and offer your choice of either a large stainless steel polished or black intercooled exhaust tip. Both systems fit the Titan XD crew cab with the standard bed (151.6” Wheelbase/6-6 ft. bed).

The BMW M2 is the automaker’s answer to Audi and Mercedes-Benz in the premium sport compact segment. The 2016 BMW M2 is a wolf in sheep’s clothing as it shares a lot of the M4’s technology underneath its body. From the suspension to the large 4 piston front brakes, they are all shared with the bigger brother M4. The BMW M2 does have several differences that set it apart, such as having its very own tuned dampers, springs, and hardly noticeable narrower tires. The N55 inline 6cyl turbocharged engine is spirited, sharing some DNA from the S55 engine found in the M4, cranking out a stunning 365 HP and 369 Lb. x. ft. of Torque at the crank.

aFe CONTROL has developed a swaybar kit for the F80 series chassis. Designed to increase roll stiffness without upsetting the M2's natural balance or traction control systems. Perfectly balanced, the 32mm front and 29mm rear bars are lightweight, made from a tubular construction, and feature CNC machined TIG welded bar ends for a perfect fit. We also include CNC machined 6061-T6 sway bar bushing brackets that are anodized black and direct fit polyurethane bushings. Anyone can provide a stiff bar, but to maintain perfect balance is crucial to increasing corner speed.

aFe POWER is known for developing performance products on diesel trucks, naturally given the opportunity to work on the new 2017 Ford F-250 the engineers jumped. You may ask yourself why the new F-250 is such a big deal, well here are several reasons why the new F series is improved for 2017.
Lightweight strength was achieved without losing structural integrity. Just like its smaller brother the F-150, the F-250 sheds some weight off with high-strength aluminum. Approximately 350 pounds were lost, but while many will doubt whether or not this truck can handle massive payloads, a stiffer frame, stronger axles and suspension components have been upgraded to compensate.
Powering this F-250 is a 6.7L Power Stroke turbo diesel V8. New engine updates helped produced an impressive 440 HP and 925 lb-ft of torque at the crank.
While stock out of the box the truck delivers admirable performance, at aFe POWER we don’t know the meaning of the word “stock”. We are the first to strap this powerful workhorse to a dyno and see what it puts down at the wheels. Future products to keep an eye out from aFe POWER is our Scorcher Tuner Module, Momentum GT Cold Air Intake System, exhaust system upgrades and more!
As mentioned before we needed to do a baseline run to see what we are working with in stock trim. We use our in-house dyno jet as a tool to visually see what performance gains our products will improve upon. In this case, we are testing our Scorcher HD Tuner Module for the 2017 Ford F-250 with the 6.7L V8 engine.
Ford's new F-250 is certainly a torque monster, producing over 800 Ft. lbs of torque to the wheels at 2,000 RPM! Obviously, that much amount of torque helps when pulling heavy loads from destination to destination. But there’s always room for improvement, the aFe POWER Scorcher HD Tuner Module will increase your Power Stroke diesels horsepower, torque and throttle response. Whether for pulling, cruising, or even hitting the local drag strip for fun, our tuner module will not leave you disappointed.

Both aFe POWER equipped Turner Motorsport BMW’s head east to Virginia International Raceway for round 9 of the series. Turner Motorsport returns to VIR with their heads held up high as they have three wins and multiple top 13 results since 2005. Markus Palttala driver of the No. 97 Turner BMW M6 GT3 is no stranger to VIR, in 2014 he placed in 1st which later rewarded him to a 3-way tie for first in the championship standings that year. This year will be his second year driving alongside Michael Marsal, both finishing strong last year in 4th for Turner Motorsport in the BMW Z4 GT3.
When asked about their chances of winning at VIR, Markus Palttala had this to say –
“I’m looking forward to returning to ViR, it is a very fun circuit and one of my favorites here in North America. The Z4 was very strong here the past two seasons with results to show it so now it’s time to prove the performance of our new M6 GT3.”

Round 8 of the IMSA Weathertech Championship will be held at the renowned Road America road course in Plymouth Wisconsin. Both aFe POWER equipped Turner Motorsport BMW GT3's return in hopes of turning around their luck from last year's disappointing finish. This year Turner Motorsport returns with confidence in landing a solid performance.
Markus Palttala driver of the No. 97 Turner BMW feels that the M6's will have an advantage at Road America. He believes the tracks long sweeping high-speed corners will be better suited for longer wheelbase cars such as their M6. The team will push hard in hopes of obtaining some strong results and overcome last week's disappointing finish at Lime Rock Park.
Strategy has always played a key role at Road America in past years. With a large field of teams competing this weekend, it should be interesting to see what game plan Turner Motorsport has up their sleeve.

Turner Motorsports aFe POWER Equipped BMW M6 GT3 Comes Home Victorious!
Round 6 of the IMSA Weathertech Championship took place at Mosport just north of the Canadian border. The Turner Motorsport team had a solid qualifying position, as driver Bret Curtis had the No. 96 aFe POWER equipped BMW M6 GT3 starting from 4th.With a combination of quick and consistent laps, Curtis was able to keep the leaders in sight during the first half of the race. Co-driver Jens Klingmann took over the wheel in the second half of the race to reel in the leaders.
After a full course caution had been brought out by the GTD leader, this gave the team hope as it bunched up the field for another green flag restart. Klingmann took this chance to head towards the pits for four tires and fuel, preparing for the final sprint to the finish. Klingmann fought hard for several laps, resulting in taking second and first place from both the No. 33 Viper and No. 27 Lamborghini with 30 minutes to go. The result was a win for the No. 96 Turner Motorsport aFe POWER equipped BMW M6 GT3, making it their second podium of the year and the very first win for the M6 GT3 in North America.

“I knew that when (team owner Will) Turner came on the radio and he said this is the fight for the lead and the win, we had a chance for the win,” Klingmann said. “(Bleekemolen) was fighting very hard, it was tough to stay close to him in [going into Turn] 5b. Just then, the traffic came towards us, and I think the Lambo was just too wide, so I tried the only way on the inside. When I got him, I had a little celebration in the car up to Turn 8, but it was short lived.“I was just managing the pace because we were running out of fuel. We did a short stop to get out in front of the Audis. I’m really proud, this is my first win in North America, and the first win for this new BMW.”
