Pro DRY S Media: This filter features 3-layers of progressive media to provide maximum flow with excellent filtration. The progressive layering of media allows the filter to flow at high levels even when dirty. The Pro DRY S non-oiled synthetic air filter requires no oils for cleaning for maximum convenience.
Rounded Open Pleats: aFe performance air filters use a rounded pleat design which produces more usable filter surface area for increased flow and greater dust holding capacity.
Progressive Bump Seal: This pliable sealing surface conforms to even the most uneven filter housing. This design eliminates the use of gaskets or sealants. The soft urethane construction always goes back to its original form so you will never compress the bump seal. This makes for a perfect filter fit and sealing surface every time.
Full Urethane Housing: aFe Power performance air filters are constructed using full 360 degree urethane frames. This construction allows for a proper OE style fit with excellent filter strength.

The Mercedes Benz W204 Chassis C Class owner, late 2012 through 2014, with the 3.5 Litre V6 looking for a simple & measurable performance uyograde to their autoimobile would be wise to select the Magnum FLOW Pro DRY S Air Filter - 31-10250.
It is a great value when following the instructions for cleaning (yes it is reusable), it outflows the factory cellulose (paper based) filter media, does a better job of trapping particles that enter the intake system that can cause mechanical wear, due to its synthetic media construction.
All this at a price point that deliver much better value than the OEM Mercedes FIlters that do not deliver these benefits. Sometimes, the Mercedes OEM Parts be be upgraded to perform much better. tha the factory offerings, this Air FIlter is such a product.
This Afe Power Magnum FLOW Pro DRY S Air Filter, Part Number: 31-10250, is one of those great buys for the consumer looking to reduce emiisions, and achieve maximum fuel economy, or the enthusiast that desires to gain performanvce & HP gains. It is measurable, relaibly & repeatably.
At 69 MPH, using this product, I achieve 34.1 MPGs on Interstate Highway Trips, getting over 500 Miles easily betwen fuel ups.. The EPA HWY rating for the 3.5 Litre states 28 MPGs. Do the math, that's 21.7% better HWY MPGs, at 34.1. With this aFe Power filter, driving the vehicle in one of its' sweet spots for MPGs, which is at 62 MPH you can acheive 37.6 MPGs.......
Consider if you are paying $4.00 / Gallon for Premium 93 Top Tier Rated Gasoline (these engines have a 12.2 to 1 Compression Ratio), you are reducing the cost by about 65.2 cents a gallon.... or you are extending your operational range another 70 - 100 miles per tank.
