This is an expensive radiator, but is a work of art compared to the OEM or cheaper alternatives. Most importantly, it fits, and all the standoff's line up, which can't be said of the alternatives. You can tell aFe put a lot of thought into making it fit, as it barely, but completely, clears both the hood and swaybar disconnect mechanism on my 2014 JKUR. The drain is in a right spot facing downward, but is much better though out and executed than the awful OEM one. It's January, so I won't know until summer if it solves the cooling issues I've been having in the Colorado mountains, but I'm quite hopeful.
Installation is "easy" since everything fits, but swapping JK radiators is a fair amount of work. The manual is good, but not great, with a few omissions and minor errors.
There are a few things that could be improved: First, aFe does include a gasket, of sorts, for the fan/radiator interface. It's not as effective as it could be, though, and only covers the top and bottom of the radiator, not the sides. Second, the included silicon radiator hoses are a little long. The upper hose, in particular, makes the worse the problem of air collecting in the "hoop" of that hose. Third, though the radiator does include a passenger's side standoff for mounting the transmission cooler on JKs equipped with an automatic transmission, it doesn't include a mount for the cooler lines on the driver's side like the OEM one does. There is a nearby unused rear-facing standoff, though, so perhaps aFe could create a bracket that would support those lines from that location.
