- Very Happy with these Products
Have a 2016 Stingray Z51, I wanted to get a little more power, without putting a super charger on the car.
I have put AFE's cold are intake, throttle body spacer, Granatelli Motorsports 8mm Red/Black Insulator, and these PFADT Long tube headers, with high flow cats.
All parts were very easy to install, except for the headers! Most of the directions that came with the headers were pretty much spot on, and as per directions, we unbolted the engine mounts and lifted the engine from the bottom to get the clearance we needed for the install. After the headers were installed, we elected to torque all the header bolts and then proceed to the X-pipe. The X-pipe fit perfectly, with only about an 1/8" offset to join into the tail end of the headers, which we were able to squeeze together by hand.
In the end, I am Very Happy with the Product, it Definitely has a Lower Rumble, and Louder when hard on the throttle. In the Vehicle, it is a little louder when on the throttle, but when just cruising, its basically similar to the stock pipes. I am Very Happy with the end result of all the Product from AFE!
PS, I would not attempt to install the header system without a lift, and, very good mechanical skills!!
