aFe Power is proud to introduce all new Twisted Steel Down Pipe for the 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X with L4-2.0L (t) engine. This high performance down-pipe delivers the perfect balance of pure, race-inspired performance and sound. In recent testing this system produced +24 horsepower and +26 lbs. x ft. of torque. Constructed out of 100% hand TIG-Welded, durable, mandrel bent, brushed 304 stainless steel tubing this kit utilizes an integrated mitered wastegate dump with 3-1/2" into 3" step design to increase exhaust velocity for maximum flow and performance. This kit includes a second bung for either a wide-band O₂ gauge or auxiliary instrumentation. This is a direct bolt-on system which requires no cutting or drilling and includes all necessary hardware including a heat-wrap to reduce engine bay temperatures.
Mitered Wastegate Dump:
The integrated mitered wastegate dump decrease turbulence and increase exhaust velocity resulting in increased horsepower, torque and improved throttle response.
High quality OE style flanges are used for a complete 360 degree sealing surface.
100% TIG-Welded by certified craftsmen for race proven strength and durability. TIG-Welding provides the strongest welds reducing stress cracks.
A 3-1/2" into 3" step design is used to increase exhaust velocity, this means more aggressive throttle response and increased passing power.
This down pipe uses factory mounting locations for the O₂ sensors and includes an additional bung for either a wide-band O₂ gauge or auxiliary instrumentation.
This unit comes with a heat wrap to reduce engine bay temperatures for a cooler air charge.
This exhaust is a direct bolt on system which requires no cutting or drilling and includes all necessary hardware for a hassle-free installation.
