aFe Power's new Twisted Steel header delivers an astounding 7 hp and 9 lbs. x ft. torque while outflowing the factory exhaust manifold. The header is constructed of 1.5" 14-gauge 409 SS tubing with a 1/2" thick head flange to ensure a leak free seal. To eliminate dead space that can cause turbulence and hindering flow that formed collectors are prone to produce, a true merged collector and optimized tube lengths are used for true pulse control technology improving flow and performance. 100% hand TIG-welded construction ensures optimal strength and durability. The smooth curves and increased diameter of this header helps remove restriction and keeps exhaust gas flowing smoothly for improved performance and durability on and off the trails. All components are supplied for a hassle-free installation with no modifications necessary.
Mitered collectors extend the tube length into the flange which decreases turbulence and increases exhaust velocity. The result is increased horsepower, torque and improved throttle response.
100% TIG-Welded by certified craftsmen for race proven strength and durability. TIG-Welding provides the strongest welds reducing stress cracks.
1/2" Thick Head Flange:
A 1/2" thick head flange is used for maximum strength and durability. The flange design is identical to the head port and is machined flat for a leak-free seal.
409 SS Construction:
This header is constructed of durable CNC mandrel bent 14-gauge 409 stainless steel tubing for maximum performance, corrosion resistance and strength eliminating cracking.
A premium flange gasket with aluminum fire rings is provided for a leak-free seal. The gasket is port matched for a perfect seal.

- Amazing quality
- Let me start off saying that the only prob I have is that you have to cover it with the intake manifold it is absolutely quality work the welds are a work of art the bends are smooth and it feels extremely solid in your hands and just a great design i got tired of cracks in my borla I have a 4.7 stroker with bombproof motor mounts and a flex pipe and it still cracked more then one time with the afe i am confident i wont have this problem and you can not even compare the quality it makes the borla look like junk when you look inside the header at the collector it does not look like 3 tubes welded together then the ends cut off time and thought went into the design and you can tell it is designed to flow I can't thank afe enough for making a such quality header that brings confidence back to me
