aFe is proud to introduce an all new Takeda dual cat-back exhaust system for the 2015-2018 Subaru WRX and WRX STI with the H4-2.0L (t)/2.5L (t) engines. This performance cat-back exhaust system is constructed out of 3" into dual 2-1/4” mandrel-bent 304 stainless steel tubing and incorporates a mitered merge to evenly distribute exhaust gases resulting in added horsepower and torque. In testing, this system resulted in gains up to +14 horsepower and +22 lbs. x ft. of torque verified by our in house dyno. This cat-back exhaust utilizes dual high-flow 304 stainless steel mufflers to improve performance across the power band while maintaining an aggressive sound. To finish off the exhaust are quad, 304 stainless steel, high-luster, polished 3-1/2” diameter tips. The tips come with laser-etched Takeda logos for an aggressive style. This unit is 100% TIG-Welded by certified craftsmen for race proven strength and durability and is a direct bolt-on system that requires no modifications. All necessary hardware is included for a hassle-free installation.
Dual free-flowing 304 stainless steel mufflers are used to absorb high pitch tones producing a powerful sound.
Flow and Performance:
This Takeda exhaust system is constructed of 3" into dual 2-1/4" mandrel bent 304 stainless steel tubing for maximum flow and high resistance to corrosion. Smooth transition bends allow for low turbulence, increasing horsepower, torque and improving throttle response.
True Mitered Merge:
A true mitered merge is used to evenly distribute exhaust gases thru the muffler reducing un-wanted back pressure.
Quad 304 SS Tips:
This system includes quad, 3-1/2" diameter, 304 stainless steel tips w/laser-etched Takeda logos for an aggressive style.
100% TIG-Welded by certified craftsmen for race proven strength and durability. TIG-Welding provides the strongest welds reducing stress cracks.
This systems utilizes factory mounting locations providing stability and hassle-free installation.
