Overview

This Stage-2 cold air intake system produces up to 9HP and 14lbs. x ft. torque. Enclosed in a durable 18 gauge, powder-coated heat shield, this air intake system features a washable/reusable conical air filter that improves airflow for increased horsepower and torque. This intake system also features a heat-insulating molded plastic tube that replaces the stock intake tract and directs increased air flow with improved volumetric efficiency for maximum performance. The one-piece heat shield requires no assembly and the filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.

Dyno Tested Intake Tube- The intake tube is designed to maximize air velocity and is dyno tested and flowed using the latest engineering tools for maximum performance, mileage and throttle response.

4 IN Conical Filter with Inverted Top- This intake utilizes a 4 IN conical Pro 5R performance air filter with inverted top for maximum flow. This 5-layer progressive, oiled cotton gauze air filter provides maximum flow for increased horsepower and torque.

Hassle-Free Installation This intake replaces the factory intake box and uses the factory inlet tube. All hardware and components are included for a hassle-free installation.

Easy Install

My XJ and I love it!

Very happy with this intake! I got this kit and installed it on my 2000 XJ, and let me tell you, it doesn’t disappoint! I went on a dusty as hell trail ride not a week after getting the intake and after I got the Jeep back home and cleaned it up, I was curious to see how much dust had gone into my motor! Well I pulled the filter off and intake tube, and believe it or not, it’s was just as clean as the day I installed it! I’m very satisfied and highly recommend the AFE filters and intakes! Customer for life!
