Enclosed in a durable 18 gauge, powder-coated heat shield; this air intake system features a washable/reusable conical air filter that improves airflow for increased horsepower and torque. Heat shield requires little or no assembly and the filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.

- Works on an automatic transmission R53 with minor modification
- The filter is outstanding! The box and tube are excellent. I needed to replace the coupler that connects to throttle body. The coupler that came with intake wasn't long enough but it was very easy find a longer coupler sleeve. The application info says it only works with manual transmission but I haven't had any issues using it on a R53 with AISIN 6 speed automatic. The intake has one tube that is for connecting to a breather tube but my R53 has a second smaller breathing tube that required a simple installation of a brass hose fitting.
