aFe POWER's Stage-2 air intake system produces an astonishing 32 horsepower & 35 lbs. x ft. torque and outflows the factory intake by 44%. Our equal length dual tube design with a H-pipe balance-tube increases intake air flow and velocity, while increasing horsepower and improving throttle response, allowing for quicker turbo spooling. The air intake is enclosed in a durable 16-gauge heat shield that utilizes the lower half of the factory air box that requires no assembly. Two 360-degree conical Pro 5R air filters provide protection and flow for maximum performance and are constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.
Equal Length Intake Tube:
This intake uses a dual intake tube design with an H-Pipe balance tube to balance intake tube pressures and maximize air flow and velocity.Dual 360 Degree Air Filters:
This intake utilizes dual oval conical Pro 5R performance air filters for maximum flow. These five layer progressive oiled cotton gauze air filters provide maximum flow for increased horsepower and torque.Top Mounted Heat Shield Design:
aFe POWER developed this heat shield to snap onto the top of the lower half of the factory air box to provide a hassle-free installation utilizing factory mounting locations.Emissions Disclaimer:

2013 March Build 3.5 EB.
If you want quality, aFe is the way to go.
Every part was packaged carefully and sealed well in its own perfect bag or equivalent.
You knew it was inspected and well taken care of.
The intake itself is solid aluminum, none of the plastic you get on others.
The unit looks great in my truck and the fit is snug...but that's much better than loose!
You can here the turbo wine through it (without the cover) and when you get the RPMs up you can here this intake suck in the air. I don't mind it, others might dislike but in that case you can buy the lid too.
Can defintely feel a little pickup since this intake allows such a large amount of air into the engine. No dyno tests, but mpg in city went up from my average of 17.2 to almost 18. GREAT!
Customer service, the guys were awesome. Was having trouble getting the MAF sensor into the aFe tube, and got in contact with Mike who quickly took care of me. The fit is VERY snug and requires a good amount of pressure to pop in.
The instructions are from 2011, but easy enough to follow. You don't need to torx bit (does no good) just a pair of vise grips/pliers. Some of the clamps are a very tight fit, but everything does eventually go on with a little work.
