Overview

Large Air Filter:
This intake system utilizes a pre-oiled, large 7" tall conical 360 degree radial flow performance air filter with 5-layers of progressive finer mesh cotton media providing maximum airflow and performance.

Mandrel-Bent Tubing:
One Piece 3" Mandrel-Bent Wrinkle-Black Powder-Coated Aluminum Intake Tube directs unrestricted airflow from the massive filter to the turbo for more horsepower and torque.

Top Mounted Heat Shield Design:
aFe developed this heat shield to snap onto the top of the lower half of the factory air box to provide a hassle-free installation utilizing factory mounting locations.

Premium Hardware:
Premium hardware and clamp are used to securely mount the high flow air filter and the intake tube.

Fitment Note:
This item does not fit Audi A3 models equipped with the 40 TFSI engine.

Just installed on my 2018 golf tsi 1.8T and perfect fit and easy to install , sounds great ,still need to test drive it , love the whole idea of how it uses part of stock air box plus total design to keep heat soak to minimal .
