Sensor 1 Style:
The BMW N55 came with two types of TMAP/MAP Sensors. This Module accommodates the Sensor 1 style. The Sensor 1 TMAP/MAP sensor is identified by having a smooth connector housing and a raised square located between the mounting bolt locations. See the illustration on this web page or on page 3 of the instruction manual for details. The TMAP sensor is located on the drivers side of the engine, mounted on the charge pipe between the factory air box and the strut tower. Note: This information is critical to choosing the correct module for your vehicle.

- Why Did I Wait So Long To Buy This?
- This upgrade is the "REAL DEAL"! Our 2011 BMW X5 Twin Power Turbo has always been plagued with turbo lag, especially when starting from a stop. This module instantly recalibrated the turbos to almost entirely eliminate the lag. At highway speed, in normal drive mode the pickup in the engine and the torque are noticeably improved in terms of response and power. Put the X5 in Sport Mode and hang on. Power delivery is so much better, almost manic. The performance improvement in worth every penny of this upgrade. I wish I had done it years ago. Great bang for the buck.
