aFe POWER Announces The Acquisition of Sway-A-Way Shock Technology
aFe POWER is proud to announce the expansion of the aFe CONTROL Suspension offerings with the acquisition of Sway-A-Way's line of high performance off-road racing shocks, including the Sway-A-Way, Kuster and RaceRunner brands.
This acquisition complements aFe's existing aFe CONTROL suspension product line for street and track applications for cars, and features a complete line of bolt-on shock packages utilizing components Sway-A-Way's racing shocks serious off-road racers have depended in the most grueling environments.
Sway-A-Way has a long history of winning and success in the competitive off-road racing markets. Starting with working on VW buggies to today's powerful Trophy Trucks and high-tech rock crawlers. Applications include off-road racecars, pickup trucks, rock crawlers, Jeeps, pre-runners, sand buggies and SUV's. A full line of universal race shocks are also available, with sizes ranging from 2.0" diameter bump stops all the way to massive 5.0" diameter bypass shocks.
This new relationship with aFe POWER will allow Sway-A-Way and the newly formed advanced CONTROL engineering (aFe CONTROL) the ability to bring high quality, thoroughly engineered products by leveraging aFe's vast resources and organizational strength. In 16 short years, aFe's experienced management team led by CEO Shahriar 'Nick' Niakan has brought the company from a start-up to the performance leader it is today. Operating from a 3-building 180,000 sq. ft compound in Corona, California, aFe has the manufacturing capacity, warehousing and distribution network to service customer needs.
