Jeep Wrangler JL
Product testing is a tough job, but hey, someone has got to do it. We headed out to Ocotillo Wells with our Ford Raptor, Jeep JK, JL and a few side-by-sides all outfitted with aFe for some field testing. The washboard trails and dirt packed hill-climbs proved to be the perfect environment for some real-world R&D.

AS AN ENTHUSIAST...
AS SOMEONE IN THE INDUSTRY...
From companies exhibiting their latest and greatest inventions, to buyers from across the globe, the SEMA Show is one of the busiest and most important times of the year for those in the automotive industry.
For those of you that are unfamiliar, the SEMA Show is a trade-only event – meaning, if you aren't in the automotive industry, essentially, you can't attend.
Each year it draws an insane amount of attendees. For 2018, the number continues to grow, with an estimated 150,000 people in attendance.
It's a collection of some of the most incredible vehicle builds in the country. It's the debut event for thousands of innovative new products. It's probably the only place you can turn your head one way and see Ken Block, and turn it the other way and spot a modified wide-body Lamborghini.
HONDA CIVIC TYPE R
Because it already has such a sporty design, the Type R always draws attention, but some people can go over the top with modifications.
Luis' is tasteful – sporting a stock engine bay aside from the Takeda Momentum Cold Air Intake, with our performance-oriented Pro 5R air filter.
Luis explained, "The SEMA crunch was pretty spot-on this year, with less than two months to get everything together. This is my sixth time attending the show, but my first year being a booth car and its been an amazing road to here."
JEEP WRANGLER JK
aFe POWER's Differential Covers overtook the off-road portions of this year's SEMA Show. With a raw aluminum or black powder coated finish available, several builds rocked their custom finish choices.
For consumers, the SEMA Show is also the holy grail of automotive events –but for different reasons. With plenty of celebrity autograph signings, seminars to attend, and (of course) incredible builds to see, there is no shortage of things to do.
Some of the aFe team have been in Vegas for almost a week already – preparing our booth, product displays, and show vehicles for what (for most in the industry) is the busiest week of the year: the SEMA Show.
The show officially kicks off Tuesday morning, so Monday night was full of last minute touches – throwing the tips on our exhaust displays and dusting off all the fingerprints.
Over 30 people from our team hit the floors running first thing Tuesday.
The week commences...
Spotlighted in our booth as well as in SEMA's New Product Showcase, our AGD made its debut at this year's show. Its understated, yet captivating screen design is drawing in many questions from attendees.
With over 25 parameters to view, and more on the way, the all-in-one device monitors, records, and data logs important vehicle information – and will be shipping late December, 2018 for most vehicles 2009 and newer.
Advanced Gauge Display "AGD"
Quantum Cold Air Intake System
Our industrial-grade Quantum Series Cold Air Intakes recently debuted with applications for Dodge/RAM, GM, and Ford trucks, with many more on the way.
Quantum takes the same quality and performance focus aFe always delivers, and turns it into a convenient, sealed, easy-to-install system with plenty of innovative features such as an integrated filter-to-housing design and flexible bellows couplings.
2019 BMW M2 Competition
"Black Ops" Jeep Wrangler JL
Dodge Demon "Hellcab"
Products mounted on displays are great for educational purposes, but let's face it – products on vehicles are much more fun to look at.
With a brand new BMW M2 Competition, a murdered-out Jeep Wrangler JL, and a Dodge Demon dubbed the "Hellcab," our SEMA booth has plenty of eye candy to go around.
